I
left school in 1980 and went on to college to study for a B/TEC National
Diploma in Computer Studies. More recently I have been studying for Masters'
Degree in Information Technology, and hope to receive my final assessment
in the next few weeks.
Since leaving college in 1982 I have worked as a AIX/UNIX expert for a
variety of government agencies, and blue-chip companies in the UK, Europe
and the United States. More recently, and in response to ever increasing
demand, I have specialised in UNIX, Linux, and Windows platform security.
I have developed this site in my spare time, and without financial help, because I believe passionately that many people are shying-away from security simply because they fear that they maybe opening "Pandora's Box", and could end-up with huge bills, or even attracting an attack!
By making this website freely available to all I hope to overcome some of these obstacles, and raise people's security awareness. If you have any comments or suggestions then please do NOT hesitate to contact me.
